The zircon sand is kind of mineral material with ZrSiO4 as main composition. Its density is 4.6g/cm3, with Mohs hardness being Grade 7-8 and smelting point being 2430℃. However, at 1540℃, it is decomposed to ZrO2 and SiO2 with lower melting point so there is a wide temperature zone between its sintering temperature and smelting temperature, which is also a special feature of zircon. Besides of high refractability, the zircon has higher thermal conductance and lower thermal expansion than silica sand. The zircon sand is used for thick walls of large steel castings, the facing sand of various alloy steel castings and the coatings of anti-sticking sand.
The Company is mainly engaged in the business of zircon sand produced in Australia and machining of fine powder of various granularities. Its physicochemical indexes (%) are as follows:

Common granularity: 70-140mesh, 200mesh, 320mesh.
